The Process

Emotion as a collective space

The brief required making something invisible legible across a shared physical space. The installation represents each visitor's emotional state as a coloured orb that drifts through the room, intersecting with the states left by previous visitors and building a collective picture of emotion over time.

The system was deployed in two configurations: SAM Art Dose in Singapore in 2023, and Hong Kong PolyU's Researching the Future exhibition in 2024.

The Outcome

Two venues, two cities

Mind Peek ran at SAM Art Dose in Singapore in 2023 and at Hong Kong PolyU's Researching the Future exhibition in 2024.

The exhibit connected visitors to the emotional states of participants from the other venue, across time and geography.

As seen on SAM Artdose, CDE and HK PolyU
