Hi,
I am Kesh.
A designer who executes whacky ideas. With the help of design and tech, I design things that fall in the intersection of design “aha” and “wtf?”—based in Singapore.

The journey started with a double click on Photoshop CS4, on a rainy day in 2009. Soon I found myself designing YouTube and Facebook banners for creators and huge gaming groups – to trade for some sweet sweet in-game currency (SuperBrie+ from Mouse-hunt anyone?). This odd fascination led me to pursue a Diploma in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics, at Singapore Polytechnic. Our final year project’s recognition at the National Youth Film Awards in 2017 was a pivotal moment that kick started this creative pursuit.
For a little while, I lived life as a motion designer – with a blend of freelance and part-time work, collaborating with talented individuals and leading projects for brands and events. I had some of the best times, working short and memorable stints at TMMRWSG, Mojo Singapore, and RVLTN SG learning not only about motion design but also about managing teams, client empathy, and negotiation. The culmination of these skills came into good use when my friends and I founded the now defunct Cupa, a motion design collective.
Somewhere along the line, I realized I wanted to do more than just Push Pixels. Rather than having something be stuck in a digital plane, I wanted to make things that people would touch, feel, and interact with. As you can tell, I was slowly inching towards interaction design. My journey took me through six diverse platforms over four insane years at NUS Industrial Design, allowing me to delve into UX, Arduino, electronics, and design research.
Subsequently I had the opportunity to explore the intersection of art and technology during my internships at SerialCo_, HansTan Studio, and NUS Keio-CUTE Center. These experiences broadened my skill set and directly translated into enriching my understanding and application of interaction design – which in turn has resulted in the projects you see on this site.
Now, with a focus on user experience, my newfound mission is to understand and evoke emotions – evotions.
If the journey was a film,
these guys would be in the credits.
